Getting Started: Support Task Initiation

There can be multiple reasons why it may be difficult to get started on a certain task or assignment. To support you and your children with breaking past these barriers, we've created this handout that highlights our favorite task-initiation strategies. 

This offering includes cooking-themed activity sheets designed to help support you in implementing these strategies. These strategies are applicable across ages and contexts, and you can mix and match the strategies to create the perfect recipe for you or your child!

While this offering can be used by individuals of most ages, it's tailored to those that are 5-17.
